Did anyone else save Turt Reynolds?

Or whatever else you called your turtle. I grabbed him from the tower, and "got him to da choppa". :) Do I get extra points for saving a turtle's life? :) I loved this game by the way.

You get an achievement for adopting a turtle, but OP is talking about at the end of the game, when you're abandoning your tower.

I forgot all about Turt Reynolds at the end. Shame on me.

I recently replayed it and I think I forgot to grab Turt back on Day 2 when you first have the opportunity to adopt him... but if I had remembered, I absolutely would've saved him from the tower :)

Thankfully, there's a good Let's Play of the game I watched recently, where they not only adopted Turt and brought him out at the end - but also had their own little side story they invented for him:

I see "Turt Reynolds" and I keep thinking of the scene in "Over The Garden Wall" when Greg was saying "We've come to burgle your Turts!", much to Wirt's anxious annoyance. Totally tangential to the thread but that's where my head keeps going. ^_^

I picked one up while I was running to the evac helicopter. I forget if I grabbed one earlier in the game, if I did it didn't make it with me.
