why is this game never on sale?

I was wondering when Firewatch goes on a sale. Might pick it up for $5-10 but its almost never on a Steam sale. Been waiting for months. I think $10 is a fair price for the amount of content you get off it (it's also like 4 years old now). I guess that's just my opinion. :)

According to IDAT[isthereanydeal.com], it's been on sale
51 times, twice in the past 3 months. The lowest public discount is 75% off, but I got it at GOG for 80% off whith a code they sent to news letter subscribers.

Its been on sale many times but never enough for me to pick it up due to how short it is.

true in the past but now this game hasn't been on a sale since a year now (technically 11 months). I believe Steam Summer Sale 2019 was the last time I saw this on sale.
