Cottonwood cache combination? How to find out?
So I had to look it up, but how does the game communicate the new lock combination? Did I miss it mentioned somewhere?

For those that found this in attempt to find the combination it is 5678

AFAIK the game communicates this by making it TOO OBVIOUS.

the code is 5678

she changes it to stop whoever was listening from knowing the code. she tells you when you find it is changed and says it 5678. which is just after 1234 the last code. and Henry scoffs at it for being equally as lazy as before
