Stuck on day 2 immediately after finding the cut telephone line.

The way back is blocked by a wall that says "long drop" on it and despite being able to get up onto a ridge so i could actually get out, magic invisible walls are preventing me from doing so. There are no ways out of this area, is this actually the end of the game?

if i'm not mistaken, you have to report the beer cans to delilah and she tells you to follow the can trail to find the teens that are responsible for the wire. you follow it, things happen, then there is a cutscene and you wake up at your lookout.

A tad bit too late for you maybe, but I came across the same issue. The exit is located all the way to the top, near the cut line, to the left. There, you will find a path leading down, parallel to the place which you could not seem to leave.
