Are there multiple endings?

I feel like the game speeds up more and more - the first two days were long, then I only see snippets of the following days or skip weeks at a time. Is that based on your actions or meant to be like that?

It's meant to be like that.
There technically are 2 endings, the 'secret' 1 of which can be gotten very easily. I won't spoil it here but if you google it you'll find it easily.
