Is there jumpscares?
?

No. There are a few scenes scenes that might be a bit creepy. But nothing that suddenly jumps into your face, and no sudden sound effects that are meant to shock you. This is not a horror game, it's more of a very slow burning psycho thriller.

Uhmm yes. There is only 1-2 though, so you should be fine.

SPOILERS BELOW
The alarm toward the end, and arguably when you get hit in the head

I would argue that anyone who calls these scenes jump scares, has never seen an actual jump scare. An alarm going off is not a jump scare, it would need to be designed in a very specific way to be one, with unexpected surprising imagery and/or loud accompanying sound effects (other than the alarm noise itself).

That said, let's just agree that _if_ someone sees jump scares in this game, they are very mild ones at the most. :)

I agree with what you say, but I kinda assumed that if someone specifically asks about wether they exist or not, then that person must really hate that kinda thing or anything close to it. But then again yeah, it wasn't really *scary* :P

When you find a second radio by the lake, prepare for someone hitting you from behind when you pick it up. I always winced even though I knew it was coming. But it's not monster-nightmare-scary, just ... unexpected.

Oh, and don't open the stove in Hawk's Rest if you're scared of raccoons :)
