Does anyone actually know if the equipment (specifically the weapon) affects the characters at all besides giving general stat boosts? or does having the best prestige equipment equipped on all my mercenaries, regardless of their skill, seem to be the best bet? Ex: does having a bow on "Sir Robin of Wut" give them an advantage over giving him a sword?...
