Dead island upgrade to Definitive edition

i got the game long ago and i found out its no longer on the steam store nor will i be able to play with players who buy the game now i wanted to know if theres a way i can upgrade my game to the new Definitive edition as i have DLC from the game and i dont want to request a refune for it as ill lose the DLC so ya please get back to me on this

Definitive Edition is ♥♥♥♥ compared to the original. Only good thing is the textures and graphic visuals and lighting but weapons aren't the same and some cutscenes are broken in the definitive edition.

The dying light weapon models just ruin it for me there's no iconic ak47 or dessert eagle or nothing it's just cheap, fiction dying light guns same goes for the melee weapons.
