EPIC Cloud save DOES NOT WORK...WARNING

if you buy dead island 2 on epic just a warning the cloud save doesn't work my save file randomly got deleted and now i won't bother startiing over im just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pissed off

In your earlier thread you were talking about moving Epic save files to STEAM.

apprently cloud save doesn't work for dead island 2 anyways, i see a lot of people saying this.

just tested again, cloud saves do not work for the game, so you guys are incorrect. try deleting your save and backing it up to test, thats what i did and cloud donest upload the save.

Incorrect. Dead Island 2 does not support cloud saves on PC at all. So it is not working for you since the developers chose to not support it.

Interesting. So what was the OP doing?
@alien: What were you doing if there is no cloud save, did you just delete your save to test if there was a cloud? Were you trying to edit your saves and corrupted them? It's a confusing scenario.

I never lost progress, but I also never fiddled with my saves.

Exactly.

I've got 68 or so hours in game and no save issues at all.

Cloud save not being a feature doesn't bother me, for decades (before Cloud save) saves were local.

It works for me, had to reset my computer. I get an older save though
