Perhaps the most insane car segment, was trying to drive through that tightly packed town. I imagine most of Dead Island 2 is tightly packed by design, haven't played it yet. But it would make sense to strip vehicles out. The town from Dead Island 1 would be seen as poor game design if released today sadly.
you go from one house to the one next door and you go through back yard paths. the streets are blocked and gated so im not sure where anyone would be able to drive.
the maps so far are extremely detailed and very well done. there are not that many zombies in one place you basic encounter a couple of them and they are a handful to deal with. driving over them would be too easy. they give you all sort of environmental hazards to deal with them. weapons are limited, break easy and best left to finished them off.
You spend a good amount of time in houses and buildings too
