Game wont Start.

So the game says its 100% downloaded but when i try to start the game wont start.

I couldnt see the game folder and i tripped out lol.

Ok so game still wont start with that launch option. When i go into game main folder and click on the exe in there i get "The application was unable to start correctly (0x000007b) Click ok to close the application.

i read somehwre that if i reformatted it will fix it. I downloaded the game twice and still same deal.

A .NET Framework issue or some garbage not sure

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game / validating the game files in steam yet? If so, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Visual C++ redistributables. 0x000007b can be caused by the runtime libraries being damaged.

Yes i have done. I have reinstalled the game twice, validated the game files multiple times and reinstalled all visual C++ redistributables. I have even disabled and re-enabled the .NET framework components. Still the same issue :(

IVE DONE IT!. i found an article on dead island riptide with the same error and it fixed it

Yesterday, the game was running fine
Yesterday night, windows 10 updated itself
Today, I played for 10min then it crashed once, then I manage 5mins before it crash again. And after that 2nd crash, the game didn't even wanted to start..
When I manually open the game in the steam folder, i had the 0xc000007b error.

As I had trouble finding a solution, here's what worked for me :
https://www.malekal.com/resoudre-erreur-0xc000007b-windows10/#Remplacement_de_mfc100udll_msvcr100dll_msvcp100dll_et_msvcr100_clr0400dll
Yeah it's french ..
But basically, I downloaded this file : https://www.malekal.com/download/ms_dlls.zip
Opened the zip file and put the zipped dll in 2 folders :
- C:\Windows\System32
- C:\Windows\SysWOW64

And the game worked right after that.
So if you read this, good luck to you and let me know how it went for you :)
