Exactly, we have waited for a very long time, not a problem waiting for a bit longer, EGS exclusive shall not be supported, they are not even fresh on the marked anylonger and still continue this anti-consumer behavior.

good thing is when it does come to steam all bugs will be fixed and there'll be quite a bit of post-game content, the wait will be tedious but worth it and i have no doubts it will launch to steam at a heavy discounted price

pretty optimistic considering what lots studios are like with their games these days. LESS bugs, perhaps.
I am more concerned about the pricing though. $70 for basic edition (on consoles anyway, epic has their $10 cheaper, but i will NEVER support them, specifically because of their exclusivity bs, among a few other things)? f that. Plus that HUGE development time with multiple missed release dates, studio changes, etc. I love dead island and riptide, but i don't have particularly high hopes for this. The exclusivity and price are highly disappointing thought.

Honestly, im at the point where i dont care about exclusives anymore.
There comes a time when you need to just get over stuff, and this is one of them.

It being on EGS is old news either way though.
