INSANE gun recoil

I think this is a bug... it better be, but once i reached act 2 and got to the pumping station my guns started acting odd.. before they worked fine, but if i try to hipfire now my entire screen shakes as if i just got punched, i could be looking straight up, fire, and now my crosshair is straight on the ground.

This from just one pull of the trigger or you using like an pull auto AR?

A single pistol shot, i can go from looking straight up to straight down, i'l try to get a video of it.

Cant wait to find one and see if its just as broken, because this bug happened to me yesterday, and it still persists today AND it was fine during act 1 in the resort when i found a revolver.

This bug only happens when you change the default FOV. The bug existed in the original DL as well. This might explain why the game doesn't have a FOV slider.

I did not fix it.
had to reset FoV to default.
That did it.

how did you reset it and to what value? i can't seem to find the option in the game menu.

I had to edit a file in the game's folders, forgot the default value, probably 68, or 75.
