FPS LOCK?

Hey, is there any idea to lock fps? I want play this game with vsync OFF and 60 fps.

There is no fps lock. Disable vsynch and you get more then 60fps.... if your PC is good enough.

I don't want get more FPS with vsync off, because i getting high temperature and 99% usage so i don't want to.

Then use vsynch and play with 60..

Use MSI Afterburner/Riva Tuner, you can set any fps limit with it.

set ingame vsync off , set adaptive vsync in nvidea control panel ... this should work fairly well to keep it aorund 60

if you want more control, you can use nvidia inspector to limit vsync to 60 (or 59 to counter input lag)

if you are on AMD, you are on your own, hope that someon from the red team can explain something similar as the above option :)

use radeonpro, catalyst control center, nvidia control panel, or rivatuner, gedosato tool to limit your fps to 65

DO NOT turn vsync on in this game, it will break your performance

I check with RivaTurner, but does is legal? I mean its safe to use a fps lock on steam games ?

Valve couldn't care less even if they tried :)

Its a FPS lock, it is NOT a LOD mip-map wallhack, .... :)

Use Nvidia Inspector to cap it, I did the same, no vsync.

Best option so far: 1. Disable in-game vsync. 2. Go to your Nvidia Inspector and open up the Dead Island Profile. 3 Look for Vsync and change it from application controlled to the flag 0x18888888. This enables Fast Sync. Buttery smooth, no tearing and no input lag. Have fun!

Yeah i know its stupid question, but i mean about rivaturner not only a fps cap. Anyway i use a rivaturner and its working great, thanks you guys :)
