She seems boring and terrible for solo. Guns kinda suck in this game too. Apparently people get an inventory full of firearms drop them on the floor and pick them up and it gives you some ammo back? Never tried, but you can just focus on 1 gun while doing that I guess.
It empties the mag in the gun when you drop it, putting the bullets into your ammo inventory
As Purna I did a lot of melee, it's just part of the game...and try to Stomp when appropriate to save on ammo. Get the ammo blueprints, that will also help a little.
IMHO, Purna's strength lies in her Fury Attack, that is where she can level many zombies at once with her Perk Tree full.
I generally use the longer blade weapons as Purna[Wazis, Machetes, etc] just don't like getting too close to them and allowing them to grab ahold of my character, hate that; why I tend towards ranged attacks, rather than wading thru a pile of the undead.
