are all campaigns the same?

We just finished the Xian Mei campaign and we decided to start a new campaign Sam B to be exact and it appears to be the exact same campaign as Xian Mei... so my question is our all the campaigns the same... except for Ryders campaigns its differnt..?

I don't have Riptide Installed I assume those campaigns will be different?

Yeah... i don't remember about riptide because i played a long time ago but i think they are all the same.

Dead island it's like the four characters are playing together even if you are playing solo, the dialogues and the cutscenes show you exactly that, so that's why all the four characters have the same campaign.
Ryders campaigns is very different indeed.
