Right-click on the game in the library, then "Options" -> "local files" -> "check the consistency of the game files". Wait for until will pass test, then write helped or not. Also try to clean the cache/cookies "Steam".

Did you try to give full control (to all accounts) to the parent folder of the game?

how do i do that?

The easy way is going into the game properties, right clicking on the game from the library and choosing the option "local files" . I´m from Chile, so my english is not so polished and maybe the name of the option i mentioned to you could vary in name... Once there, choose the parent folder (the one who contain all the sub folders and files), and change the attributes from there (unchecking read only option). That's because the restrictions of the parent folder overlaps the permissions of the sub folders in most cases. Give it a try!

Thank you. I tried this already and it did not work. Hopefully they will patch this because I didn't have this same problem before.

Oh, i´m sorry to ear that (read, actually...). Personally i do not have any problems with booth games (DIDE1 and DIDE:Riptide), never received those messages, in this title at least... I wrote you that solution because it is the one that works with problems of this nature in other cases... Maybe the problem lies elsewhere? (win10 funny updates?).

Try to repeat the steps in a clean installation, who knows....

I wish you luck solving the problem. Regards.:dideaxe::didepaddle:
