Strange audio bug

I only just found this today and I have tried a few things to try and fix it from verifying the game files to reinstalling my headphone drivers to even reinstalling the whole game but nothing has fixed it.

So for some reason I have had this weird audio bug it seems like everything in the world aside from my characters dialogue, action sounds and the music only seems to come in one side of my headphones.

Like for example if I am talking to an npc, if I am facing them straight forward I can hardly hear anything, but if I turn my character either direction I can hear a lot better in one headphone or the other. So if I turn left I can hear the audio better in my right headphone.

Not sure if anyone else has had this issue.

And just so people know, the headset I am using is a Razer Kraken Tournament edition.

Hmm, check if windows hasn't altered the speaker setup. To me that sounds like what would happen if ye ol' 5.1 setup was being put through a 2 speaker setup (basically everytime I get a win10 update I have to restore this).

How would I go about doing that? I have tried to mess around with the sound settings but it still keeps on messing up.

I had that problem after a driver update so I looked audio settings and found a box for let programs decide the settings. I unchecked it and that solved it for me.

Do you know how to do that? Not sure what setting I need to look under

I just right clicked my sound icon on my desktop, right next to the date and time, and then clicked on settings. I have windows 10. Or you could use Control Panel to find your audio settings and look for changes.
