Sound effects - way too loud

Any chance the sound effects associated with opening/closing the containers/crates/etc... could be tuned down a significant bit? If I turn the volume down to a level when I can't hear footsteps anymore, the above mentioned sounds are still loud as hell. I wouldn't even mind not having these particular sounds at all.

+1 I always have the game at a maximum 5% vol, any higher and the Sfx blows my ears off. (even when I had an ear infection that lowerd my hearing level to 30%.

Some other sounds like doors opening and closing could also be toned down, but the crate/containers are #1. I think 50-70% quieter would be just about right ?

[This is a sore spot for me also and also the halloween scarey sound effects are enough to keep me away from poi's....not scarred just annoyed...perhaps some sliders or check boxes to select or reduce the annoying sounds might be in order
