Empyrion - Galactic Survival

Blueprint Name is red
After the Alpha 9 update one of my blueprints I have been working on turned red. The size class and everything is normal, but the name of the CV in the list is red.
I have tried starting a new creative mode save and spawning it in, then overwriting it, but this did not change anything.
Basically I am wondering if I need to change a block, texture, ect. which changed during the Alpha 9 update.
I would link my blueprint here, but the game will not allow it.

you could check with the console command:

prefabinfo 'Blueprint Name'

(with the ' single quotes, and capitilazation matters)
That should print the blueprint info in console with the exact blocks causing it to become red.

They recently split the walkways and railing's block group to have SV/HV and CV/BA variants (likely so they could have different volume/mass values), when they did apparently it put up-scaled SV/HV versions in some CV's, which are technically not allowed to be placed there. This might be your issue, although it could be a number of other things. If it is the walkways/railings you might have to replace them manually.

Try changing the core?

1) Make sure you don't have any growing plots with plants in them. (#1 cause of this)

2) I have not checked recently, but last time I looked at my list:

I too have a BP that was not allowed, funny thing is it's just blocks, windows, core, and a seat...(HV) My "P.H.P. Level 1"...

(I'll check to see if issue is still there, if it is I'll see if I can resolve it and post results.)

My print is no longer red (I thought it may have been a bug...)

Check to make sure you don't have any grow plots with plants, if you do not we'll move on from there :)

PS: Next step is putting BP on workshop so I (and others) can test it.

Removing the walkways and railings fixed the issue. Thank you.

it's working fine thx ... but removing all wlakways/railings on my CV will be a real pain :/

Trig, thank you. I believe this is the answer to my problem. The prefabinfo console command helped and it revealed that a walk-way block was the issue. I've removed all of those blocks but still my blueprint is red (even tried doing a Save As and made a new save). The same console command still indicates that it is a walk-way block. I cannot find any more so I was wondering if there's a console command that I can use to find the offending block type. For example, something that will change the block in question to a different block, a different color or mark it in some way so that I can find it. I must have one buried somewhere that I cannot see so, unless I can figure it out, I'm going to have to gut the whole ship.

Thanks again.
With me i had to create a new blueprint for the same ship named simply as test because the name of my original is too long. Just a small tip for anyone that has a long blueprint name, the prefabinfo tool worked after that.
