Small, agile starter SV blueprint?
Hello all
For a long time I have been using the tier 1 default SV as my main ship. I have tried dozens of them off the workshop but they are always too big, bulky, and full of crap I never seem to find an occasion to use (although they are pretty damn awesome in most cases design wise).

I have tried building my own but my eye for design is....well they end up looking like Lego empyrion edition. Anyone know of something small and agile with maybe 4 or 6 weapon mounts? I enjoy mostly taking out base turrets with em then land and finish the clear out on foot

I'm a minimalist myself. I also lack any eye for design -- everything I build is functional.

I have a level 7 SV, but I never use it -- I just wait until level 10 so I can use this super-agile stripped-down armored glass terror:

I recommend you remove the docking pad if you're not going to transport it on a CV.

I have a larger version with shield and warp, but the 'Cutter is still my favorite.

I have a few smaller SVs, but they haven't been updated to A10 yet.

I built this one a while back, should still work with Alpha 10.

A word of warning, based on firsthand experience eating my own dog food: if the planetside trader doesn't sell cobalt you will almost certainly need a ship to bridge the gap to a Level 10 like Glasscutter.

Level 10 is when the formidable 1-3-1 thruster becomes available. It is a vastly superior engine to anything else available for SV's, but it does cost a lot of cobalt.

Once you get into space you can buy cobalt from the space station. The space station is always the same floor plan, always has a mineral trader, and spawns at world creation. However, it isn't marked on your map until you either find it yourself or you activate stage 1 of the Polaris quest "Totally Overpowered".

When you visit the base park your ship in the cargo dock, call up the map, and mark your ship's current location. Now you can switch to whatever quest you want: the space station is marked for good.

I have this as a Very basic SV for doing recon. It has a low material requirement, No warp or shields and no special resources required. It fits fits your request for Fast/Agile.

Your best bet is to find out who the good Builders are for the workshop follow them and check out their designs there are lots of good creators out there and their names are very common

start by looking at these creators. If you can't find something by one of these guys that you love. You should build your own stuff.
