[HowTo] Blueprints: Create, Place, Export, Import
Als long as we are waiting for the Workshop to be enabled in a future update, we shouldn't waste time and hide our blueprints on our local drives :D

So, without further ado .. that's how we can share and use blueprints for now.

Please note:
- this will currently work in CREATIVE mode only.
- blueprints are shared between any of your creative mode savegames: You can use bluepring A, which you build in creative savegame B in any of your other creative savegames!
- key bindings used below are the default mapping (you may change that of course)

- Details may change in future updates

A) Save a blueprint

1. build your dream vessel/base
2. point at your base or vessel and hit rightALT+O
3. add a name (or keep it)
4. save

B) Place a blueprint

1. bring up the blueprint folder by hitting F6
2. select a blueprint from the list and click LOAD
3. the game will show a message top-right like " (...) has been loaded "
4. make sure, there is enough space for your BA or your vessel to be placed
5. point to the place where you want to set up your build and hit leftALT+P to place it

C) Export a blueprint

1. find your blueprint folder. For example: D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Saves\Blueprints\Hummel-o-War
2. copy the .epb file and share with your friends

D) Import a blueprint to your game

1.copy the .epb file to your blueprint folder. For example: D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Saves\Blueprints\Hummel-o-War
2. Start a new creative game or resume a creative savegame
3. Use the way described in B) Place a blueprint

Have fun!

Thanks, I hope it works on survival mode.
The steps in Import a blueprint to your game seem to no longer work, at least in Windows 10

Just to help out a little,In WIN 10, it saves to
<drive letter>:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Saves\Blueprints\<player ID #>
(If there is no Blueprint folder that is because one has not been created as yet....

Hmm... I made a build, partially underground, saved it, but when i spawn it it places the entire thing overground. How do i fix that?

You'll have to dig a hole first, one bigger than you need, and fill in around it after .

Quick question - Is it possible to create a blueprint of part of a base instead of a whole base? I want to have separate blueprints for different base components. If so, how?
Thanks in advance........

I would start out by building each component as its own base BP, then use the merge commands to bring them together when you've placed all the components you want (this process gets rid of the additional cores, leaving only the 'parent' core in place). There are tutorials/tips/guides posted in these forums on how to go about doing the actual merging.

I'm in Creative in 7.0 and this is not working.. pressing right alt and o on a base I modified and I'm getting no save option.

@crossmr I believe it not 0(zero) bot O which is to the left of P you need to use.

That's what i was using. it was a keyboard issue, since the IME I'm using uses the right alt to switch languages. it was interfering. I've remapped it.
