Low Memory Warning

I fired up a game yesterday, got stuck in the tutorial, and decided to abandon it and later start a survival game. Since launching again, and every time since, I open the game and get the 'low memory warning' popup.
I am not low on memory. The game is running with 2 gigs used, and 9 gigs free, and the rest dedicated to Chrome and other usual hogs. I can run *any* game with no memory issues, and frankly this one runs well at high quality with no issues. I think the memory warning is in error, whatever calculations are being done on this are not correct.
Current usage tabbed out of the game is 9.2/16 gigs. GPU memory usage is minimal, and I have 16gb on that as well.

What are your full system specs?
I believe you can get that warning for too low system RAM as well as too low graphics vRAM.

You need at least 10GB free unused and unreserved system RAM before launching the game to avoid the warning for system RAM, not just 10GB total.

I have 16gigs of ram, I had 11 gigs free I assume upon launch, as the game took up 2 gigs and I still had 9 gigs free.
Just quit the game, and I have.. I guess 9.4 gb free, and killing some extra tabs/etc got it own to hovering at 9.9gb free ish.
I don't think the game has tried to fill up 10gigs of memory (and I'm assuming it would also use up some of the 16gb of gpu memory available).. so why the warning? Is it really necessary to have 10gb of system memory available for this game?

You need a Quantum Computer to not get that notification, since the game pulls more ram than 2 chrome tabs during startup
