Server not showing up in the server list.
Since the latest update, I noticed that my server is not showing up in the server list for a long long time, even using filters. We can connect using the IP and Port, but it is not showing up in the server list.

The usual cause for that is empyriondedicated.exe not being allowed thru the windows firewall. Your server has been up before, so that's not too likely, but it's the only place I can suggest looking.

Nah, players are able to join it, just not through the server list, because it isn't on the server list.

Lost several players to other servers now because they thought I had shut this one down. :( This has really got to be fixed!

I tried stopping the server, validating the files, making sure the config matches the proper format, etc. You stated in the change post that the config format changed, but it didn't change at all from what I see. Please advise! I am quickly losing players! This is a damned good and expensive server! I don't want to lose it!

I just added EmpyrionDedicated.exe and Empyrion.exe to the inbound firewall rules and still isn't showing in the server list. So now I have both the ports and the programs defined. I just don't get it.

I'm assuming outbound too? You can add me on steam if you want to discuss, sometimes the real time back and forth is better.

I tried outbound just in case, but outbound isn't required, unless there is a new requirement for the server to be able to connect to a master list server. wasn't a requirement before. Either way, yeah there are inbound and outbound rules in place.

Just a reminder, this didn't start happening until patch 1.4.4 (yesterday)

I am not running EAC. Should I be? Will the master list show non-EAC servers? I am afraid to turn on EAC because of what happened with 7 Days to Die when they added EAC. Totally hosed a lot of servers for days.

My server still shows up without EAC.

Then I am at a loss.

I just changed the game port to 40000 to see if something was going on with the default range. Still can't see the server in the server list. Can connect just fine directly.

I reinstalled the game on the server in a different location and modified the default dedicated.yaml, just in case there was a difference between the structure of mine and the new one that I couldn't see. Still the server does not show up in the server list.

One final attempt. I renamed the server just in case something was wrong there. Still doesn't show up in the server list.

At this point you may be at the "fire up wireshark and bribe a networking geek with a six-pack" stage.
