If all else fails, there is probably a trader you can buy it from. Or build a cheaper CV and go to a nearby system and get it from there.
Another good source is salvaging defeated POIs for combat steel blocks and heavy windows.
Otherwise, you'll have to make a different CV and go explore the rest of the galaxy for it.
"Try the poi XY on Planet X" a huge part is made of battleblocks
The poi on the Dschungel planet gave me (probably 800) of the 900 i have, the other pois on the Schungel and Desert planet sadly gave only small amounts.
Thinking about it, the Ice planet poi with the Golem in its top sadly cant be disassembled, and i cant remember any other poi potentially made from battleblocks
I turned yesterday the Right one into the left one(s)

the current game is to go direct from SV into this new one
My biggest Problem is now that my SV is really full so every Flight is a "pain in t a"
Was the Akua Relais tower made of Battleblocks ?
maybe i try this one first
Xeno blocks give Sathium too.
I harvested the abandoned Mine on akua for enough of it
Next to this green Obelisk/tower is this Crashed Cockpit / StarterBase
Disassembling it (by let it break and fall and pickup the debris) gave me 2000 Satium Plates
Dont ask me why
This means: Plenty of ressources to find - or not...Carbon is guaranteed but the rest is up to you.
Sathium is not a starter problem: Go and salvage POIs or wreckages with your survival or multitool and you will get Sathium plates.
I spoke about the 4 Starterplanets you can travel to, since it was about the transition from a SV without warpdrive into the First vehicle with a Warpdrive
Fact is that i now know that there is no Sathium Ore on the starterplanets, so with other words only source are POI´s. And the question was which ones have Sathium.
As i said in a later game this small starter Poi gave me 2000 Sathium plates (what is really strange in my opinion and i will investigate this further)
I just like to play in ways and see whats possible. Last game i tried to play the Desert planet and came to the conclusion that is is probably impossible to survive with hard settings (specially Fast O² usage and slow constructors) without using the Tent to cheese the system.
Masperon has many sathium ore bolders bordering the poles.
Btw the crashed cockpit

is realy made out of battleblocks

"to get 300 ingots from rocks would need a serious time"
Indeed... such a shame the amount of ore from the rocks is so tiny, because someone spent allot of time programming all those rocks into the game, only for them to be made irrelevant.
My first run of the game, i harvested MANY rocks, my second run, i never touched a single one because i understood the problem - too small amount of ore to be worth anyone's time.
The starter _moons_ around Crown have no Sathium deposits on the ground or in space.
The _planets_ in the rest of the Ellyon starter system don't have any either, but the _asteroid field_ Obipl Rho does, and is on your system map. You can get to this with just a SV warp drive, no need for a CV warp drive.
If you are playing RE:
There are 4-5 starter systems depending on if you count the rogue one, and Sathium definitely exists in some of them though I'm not sure it exists in the highest difficulty ones.
If you are already rich enough you can buy a serie of miner cores at vendors and then place Autominers on different deposits, allowing you to do other stuff while they fill-up. Or go mine by yourself, or go buy the Sathium, the possibilities multiply once you leave Crown.
