hydropontic bays

so i built the bays put them on a steel plot made the light all working shows the item that i want to make (fruit, vegs and so on) but they are not growing. i am on a planet that dose not need extra o2. I did make plots under ground in a room so wondering what im missin as to why they no grow.

Ummm... hydroponic bays? I think this person thinks he's posting in the No Man's Sky forum.

Hydroponic bays are in PE and RE.

Yep there is that! It does help lots to know more information when asking for help. Not to mention what version of game you are playing, be it vanilla version to scenario.

It also mentions directly on the tooltip of hydroponic bays exactly how to use them:

A hydroponics bay for growing specialized crops. Place on top of a single growing plot. Requires a single grow lamp placed directly above. \nDoes not protect crops from environmental hazards.

I was meaning the OP'ers need to add more information to their threads.
I have seen the amount of information you add to both of your scenarios and have no complaints. If anything you have almost to much to read. ;D
