Anyway to set teleports for inner ship travel?
Yes my ship that large lol But how would i set one up?

You can't. Player entities can not have hard-coded teleporters in them anymore due to an exploit potential.

Best you can do is have a CV that is just a core, fuel tank, generator and teleporter on a motion sensor, and dock that inside your CV

well you could solve your problem by not building such large ships. lol.

No, only bases really work properly from my experiments anyway, but I found stargates just as easy to get to work as teleporters.

If your on a server the admin needs to set them up with no one else on server.
So it costs some time to set up each one.
But I used them to teleport 488 Light Years distance to save pentaxid as , at that distance its an absurd cost.
Both stargates and teleporters work for this, they just take you to a location, a set of co - ords.

What I had was a stargate on a planet and a stargate on a base in orbit.
I find them more immersive than that ye ol teleporter contraption !

My autominers are literally 488LY away and I can get to them in under 1 minute, pretty cool and some servers will set things like this up for you when your a long term player on that server, but that service is available for all on the server Im currently playing on also.

Just make a small SV to travel in your CV

Not possible in space

you have 4 Options
* Build smaller
* Build in a way everything runs together in a center
* Dock Mini Teleporter CV´s
* Use a very small SV to fly in your ship

Without a 1p view on the bike this may be problematic from 3p, but a good idea.. if your halls are big enough to avoid the issue. I've made maintenance tunnels for a small HV under the base which works pretty well.. wish you could adjust the acceleration on thrusters though.

Well (because i am busy to name my Crates (new ship, many crates) and for that i need to run all time from crate to crate) i can feel the issue. But the best sollution is to make the ship in a way you have no need to leave a small area most of the time.

For example you can thing 3 Dimensional and place constructors over each other. Controller can be at the end of a long "line" of extenders .

If your Sv hangar is 400m away from the cockpit of the Cv i would name that a issue

I tried driving through my base and while the 3'rd person view went bonkers, i could stop when i reached the other end of the base walls. Basically this sorted itself out so you wouldn't have to see much. Just get off the bike when you come to a complete stop (crash) and voila' - your'e there :o)

There's always something new to learn about this game - where do you get the stargates? Is it just from the H menu? Do you think that stargates will become more integrated into the game as they are assets but not 'constructable' atthis time - was never sure why they were there thought they were maybe for future game/story expansion.

Oh awesome idea im in single player so easier!

Hover bikes can work in first person view. And you can lower pitch and all in settings to make easier to control. I make my hallways 2 wide "CV BLOCKS" and 2 to 4 tall depending.

I did try to build most used areas not too far from each other. But due to size its still a pain at times to get around ship lol
