How can I bring my HV to other planets?
I think should SV add new towed, mechanical claw or HV put inside SV?

Being worked on for future release - Devs mentioned that there is a problem with two different constructions going to space at this time. HV cannot go into space inside an SV and no turrets yet for SV.

I think if you build a huge SV, with lots of space in it, put automatic door, get the HV in the SV, it might just work.

In kit form :D

At the moment this is technical impossible.
While passing the Atmosphere (both directions) the game deletes all docked things (turrets or Ships or in that case Ground Vehicles).
That is too the technical reason why Capital vehicles can not fly down to a planet (Or better are not allowed).
This will be gone when the playfield seperation get patched out.

creating completely new parts for the HV, then putting them in a container or hold them in your inventory. Also, small constructor on your SV to make new HV parts -- however, you cannot make HV weapons from small constructors. these are the only way to bring HV to other planets right now.

Bring the weapons with you on your SV, but I still cant see why you want an HV when you have a SV. An SV can do evertyhing a HV can do and more. Its just a waste of time and I know they take less materials but thats so trivial. By the time your traveling to other planets, you should have an good supply of Ores. Unless you cant get the hang of flying. I'm a Airplane, Helicopter, & Hot Air Balloon Pilot IRL so I always prefer flying to driving. :steamhappy:

once the auto-pilot turrets becomes reliable in taking out flying drones or prioritizes closer threats(a.k.a. better AI) while you do mining, there is really nothing for HV unless it's an emergency that the player somehow is down to 2-6 fuel packs by the time he arrive on an unexplored planet and need to conserve as much fuel searching for the promethium deposit.

Just being all the parts with you and build it on the planet.

Hate to resurrect this old thread, but I am a new player to Empyrion. I have just built my first CV and wish to dock my SV to it and take it with me to another planet. However, I'm reading in several places that trying to do so will make my SV disappear. But most of the posts I am seeing stating this are from mid-2015. Is this still the case in this game? Or will my SV still be there when I enter orbit and hit my hyperdrive? I'm going to wait for a response before I go into space, since I am quite fond of my current SV and would be very sad it it poofed.

Should work just fine now. Dock your SV or HV to the CV and you can take them with you.

It works now. Ever since they put in warp drives patch 5 or so. Have to have SV/HV docked to CV (make sure it says docked) then you can safely fly CV with docked vehicles inside it in/out of orbit and warp to other systems.
