Story mission Chapter 3: Totally Overpowered

Completed Chapter 2: Crashed Bird, fetched the UHC Dart SV (using the teleporter behind Kezzel).

For some reason line Chapter 2: Crashed Bird does not show up in the PDA - Solo Missions any more (normally finished missions are shown in green).

When I select line Chapter 3: Totally Overpowered (left side of PDA) it is shown in blue and DESCRIPTION in PDA tells me I should have a beer in the Orbital Trading Station.
Plus it tells me Chapter can be unlocked by completing Chapter 2: Crashed Bird -> which I already did complete ... bug ?

1) How do I find this OTS ? (Would not make sense to make me searching the whole planets orbit to find a small station...)

2) Does this blue text for Story Chapter 3 mean it is not unlocked yet (although I finished Chapter 2 by bringing back this Technical Artifact and talking to Kezzel again...) ?

If i remember correctly, the story mission starts as soon as you talk to the bartender on the top deck of the orbital trade station.

So you gotta take your dart sv, fly to the orbit, ping the detector to find the trade station, fly there, run up and you get the next steps.

A new mission will spawn a waypoint somewhere, and if not the last dialogue should tell you. You can also set a waypoint in the registry if you know the name.

Sorry to necro it but was the dart removed? I can't find any info but in my game that teleporter takes me to @pileofjunk which is just that an identical pile of junk to the one that takes you to the abandoned space station in the asteroid belt next to akua. I was wondering if there is no free ship anymore or what is going on. I have a ship parked on the other side of the asteroid belt teleporter anyway but idk I thought it would be cool to follow the story "as intended"

I think the guy from the Sanctuary gives you a teleporter instead now.

What do you mean? A placeable teleporter? I didnt get one either way. There are two with no address at sanctuary but useless to me at the moment.

By my experience(I have a feeling that I restart and play these mission too many times),
no free teleporter and no damaged dart now.
You can still buy ore from Talon blacksmith to produce dart,
and I guess that you can produce teleporter now ?

Eh, you're better off making your own ship anyway. They make a big deal in the last stage about not using vessel weapons, but it's the best way and there's no downside to doing so. Saves a whole lot of time, sniper rifle rounds, and frustration.

100% agree, dart is not a good small vessel now.(maybe from 1.5 or earlier version?)
But he/she can still spawn a dart if he/she want, T1 SV is cheap and small.

As I said, I have a ship parked at the space station that has the teleporter to omicron I just thought it would be nice to follow the story with less tools but alas I guess it's not possible. Thanks for the info

Sorry, I didn’t explained very well.
For example, sometimes I can’t decide which CV I want to use in my game,
then I gathered resource and spawned them all.
Sometimes I will keep some T2, T3 CV as decoration in my game.

I mean, you can spawn dart as some kind of decoration, if you want.

By the way, maybe you will need to spawn another SV on Omicron,
or you can warp the vessel (which you parked in crown sector) to omicron,
there should be some warp drive in these POI in Crown sector.

As above aluded to, if you are in the Crown sector asteroid belt, look around the item you need to take your SV to Omicron is vey close to where you are. All you will need to do is change the core on the vessel to private and salvage what you want.

add; The storyline is worth a run. I always do the storyline after a major update to see what is new.

Thanks for the answers. I found the warp core and tank. The reason why I didn't use it on my vessel instead of using the teleporter is that I didn't have the fuel then.

It’s good to use teleporter to restart from Omicron.
Abundant resource, good reputation, good profit, main story mission and nice music.
