Although if you shoot at them they might attack anyway.
Even the predators might run away, if you kill a few... maybe.
If so, restart the server and try connecting directly to its LAN IP and port with the direct connect option on the bottom of the server browser.
You will need to use the direct connect option with the IP every time.
Outside guests can connect normally.
I have the same issue on mine if I try to connect from the entry on the server browser - This started to occur within the last couple of updates to the game.
and my server resets daily
I know that in SP raptors will per default attack the player on sight if at a few distance only. Part of their group will only start to run away if you kill or shoot some, not before. I hope this helps you somehow.

Mind you, anything from the Empyrion wiki should be date checked, consulted with experts about, and ultimately taken with a grain of salt. It's not a very well maintained wiki. Plus Fandom is garbage water.

treker_ed has the command all caps "AI ON", minus the quotes. Just try all variations and see which one sticks. ;)
