Alien Plasma T1/T6
Greetings fellow players,

just wanted to ask if Alien Plasma can be grown somehow?
At the moment this does not seem to be the case.
Are there any plans to make this possible in the future?

Much oblidged!

Did you mean ZR1 and T6? You can't grow them, but you can make them in the food processor from eggs, alien parts and nitrocellulose.

Yeah, sorry ZR1..that's what i meant.

So if i understand you correctly the ability to grow them is also not planned by the devs?

I don't know if the devs have mentioned anything about that or not. My guess would be not likely since as far as I know they only grow under water. At least that's the only place I find them. To add something like water grow plots just for that would seem not worth the effort, and since water physics is strange anyway, maybe impossible. But, only my opinion, I haven't seen anything either way.

You grow the plants that are used to make ZR1 and T6. They can not be grown directly but can be easily made in large supply with one additional step.

I've seen an alien plasma plants on the surface on a swamp planet before, but I can't remember what Biome. I do know that even then, they are still pretty hard to find and only appear in small numbers.

As for the idea of 'water grow blocks' to grow more varieties of plant life, I can think of certain ways it could be implemented; maybe as a single 'device' that comes as large 3X3X3 self-contained 'enclosure' complete with it's own entry hatch., that way the 'water' which itself is just a part of the device won't be able to adversely interact with anything outside of the area it is placed in.

A while back, there was a discussion on how 'animal enclosures' could be a thing, and the idea of a self-contained enclosure 'block' was brought up there. A similar thing could be done with water.
