Dedicated server question with Dlc

My question is, if my friend and I both have this dlc, are the items available in our current dedicated game. I realise the scenario wouldn't be, but do the planets and items require starting a new game? Or will we just find these in our existing game.

In case you just installed the DLC you should have a new button on the main menu to start the Dark Faction scenario delivered with the DLC.

When you open the game / resume game overview you should also be asked if you want to try ot the Dark Faction. In that case the game will be modified and the savegame to "inject" some DLC contents.

Indeed I took the save from dedicated server, put on my pc and initiated singleplayer load, which injected Dark Faction things. Put back onto dedicated server and works well. :)
