Anyway, i do not seem to have any problem with the steering aside from when you reach a hill and it spins you facing the wrong way.
By far its biggest annoyance comes into play traveling over water - you all know what that is.... if i could have just 1 thing about the hoverbike changed... this would be it, without question.
Sure, but then I'd be using a gamepad.
I get they want to encourage players to upgrade, but It already has sufficient limitations to encourage players to upgrade, they do not need to make it stupid over water as well.
The devs have this dodgy notion that if they make other things too good, no one will use HVs anymore.
It would help if they actually improved HVs instead, but here we are.
Actually the only time I use a HV if not for combat is for using a harvester and collect wood, or if I ever wanted to make tunnels fast with the mounted drills, all other gameplay I can do it with the hoverbike or a SV, I'm just faster. Thats' one of the reasons the devs don't make the hoverbike totally good I suppose.
What sucks me, and what is not a miss-use of the keyboard like here, is that the set camera view with ALT key doesn't remain saved like in other vehicles. I bet you guys didn't even yet notice that.
I have to admit, it takes a healthy amount of roleplay for me to justify building a hovercraft, but I have a few that are themed and I love them. I just REEEAALY have to go out of my way almost to use them.
I just built a hovercycle that I love, but it gets obsoleted so fast, I can really think of a situation where I would take it back out of the CV once I have a CV that can carry it.
