LOL yea i was watching a stream with the Devs. when he pointed it out. The really scary part is when it spreads to the planets you are on like 40 minutes in to the game
Eleon explained this in the live stream today with Spanj.
dang i had to leave out of the stream early ... i had to work. thanks for that info. i will check out the VOD.
It is a timer for the galaxy.
yea the planet infestation seems to be RNG as far as i can tell. but in the end..... its all RED
i dont move very fast so i go overwhelmed and my ship blew up. it seems like there is some effect on the generators once you are in the red zone of any planet. my power kept spiking and eventually destroyed my Gens and then there was a big boom and that was all folks. The box was a little over half. i just could not get away
The timer might need separate options to adjust it. Just know playing as one does in the Base game doesn't work, probably why they made the capital ship the way it is.
