Game Crashing Bugs in DLC makes poor first impression

So far 3 serious bugs:
1. After download game would not launch (check file integrity fixed).
2. Game hard crashed consistently if I tried checking Statistics tab on P menu of explorer after landing on planet.
3. Game crashed and generated email bug report to Eleon when leaving planet. Thereafter CV controls were unresponsive (unable to turn yaw or pitch)

If not for bugs, gameplay is OK. Melee is meh, and start of story is on rails, so no replay value out of story start.

Do not open the Statistics Page of teh SV you leave with. We are aware of this crash and will fix it as soon as possible

I got to say with working 100% exclusively on this DLC for the "past few months" by the devs own words, only for it to be in such a poor state at launch, and be a paid DLC, THAT is NOT a good look on Eleon right now.

Guess this means we can expect the next few months for them to continue to exclusively work on fixing this DLC and not work on the base game basically at all.

I sure don't feel like I am winning right now as a customer.....

Yes, I reported it in your bugs section ;-).

Nah dude you don't understand. People got over 1000 hours out of the base game so everything else is justified.

Sigh, started over, got a bug that sends email to Eleon when leaving planet, but at least I was able to steer ship. Unfortunately, next step in quest has me warp to Aratos which would be fine except Aratos is 92.8 LY away, and the game won't let me lock on to any other system, so I can't hop-scotch my way there...

Just asked for my money back. Will revisit if/when they clean up the nonsense.

Edit: According to another thread, the Warp drive is capable of 100LY but damaged. The damage is supposed to occur after the jump to Aratos, but sometimes shows up before the jump, so player has no notice that there is a problem. So, it is a bug, but not as game-breaking as the others (once you know).

This DLC is majorly broken..... I am WELL within my rights to tell the truth about a broken release of a DLC.

A DLC that mind you is NOT sold as early access or anything of the sort. It is a paid and FINISHED product and NOT labeled as early access or a work in progress.
Yeah, it is more than expected to receive a better product than this when it is paid for and no warnings given.
