I cannot re-core defeated Legacy ships after today's patch.

Previous to today's patch, I could replace the cores of the Legacy ships. Once the core has been removed, it will disappear shortly thereafter. If this is intended then, how would you, now, acquire the Advanced Cores?

Also, I do not remember receiving a warning that I had 'so many mins to loot' the craft as the other vessels do.

The advanced cores are stored in a cargo box inside the ship (at least as of 12.2). In fact, it's the only regular cargo box, as opposed to a alien loot container.

What's the actual error you're getting when trying to place a core? (after destroying the existing core, of course)

While it's not necessary to be able to core the ships, it's certainly useful for gathering materials. The Legacy Decimators have tons of materials on board including 4xT4 and 2xT3 CPU extenders, warp drive, shield generator, and dozens of thrusters, fuel tanks, generators, etc that are better salvaged whole rather than scrapped for components.

ok, thx! I thought I was doing something wrong. I just had mis-perceived the process from my previous version experience.

I just tested it in my 12.2 save after updating to 12.3 tonight, and I'm able to place my own core in an Infector CV (after destroying it's core). It looks like it's still working as intended.
