all the resources that were too much, is subtracted from the next BP that you produce

I can't see why the developer wouldn't expand this system and allow you to add/remove resources/parts as you wanted. If you accidently load in way more resources then you wanted to by mistake, well to bad =P lol

A nice feature, but would like to see it with a little more functionality.

Well, you could just use them to build another small vehicle, then spawn it and strip it down to get your components back, right now that seems to be the only way.

Hi .. just incase u dono .. right click splits inventory in halve .. than if u right click while holding the item .. it will drop one at a time ..helps to match the BP requirements :))

Oh I know we can split stacks and even pick up whole stacks and single click to drop exact numbers in, my issue is that not everyone may know that and if you accidently double click / drag and drop the whole stack when you didn't mean to, your out of luck with exception to printing some form of cheap vehicles to strip for resources back.

I just feel having additional functionality with the BP printer would be nice to have eventually =)

Yeah I learned that hard way.... I had added 500 ingot of everything for a BP that only required 150 :P

You can do that if you have the other resource to build a second one. Good point though.

It's more trouble than it's worth IMO, it would probably be quicker and easier just to go and mine more. On the plus side, the extra material isn't lost and can be used towards future builds like the CV.

8 years later, and nothing has changed :D I'd say this new player trap is gonna stay forever.

Short of them doing a major overhaul on the factory, this is likely here to stay, yes.
