Erestrum, Zascosium, how to obtain.

Please help, i dont know how to get the ores, planets too far, where else can I get the ores or ingots.

Erestrum go to planets that start with an "A". (the lava planets)
Zasconium, go to the planet that starts with a "M".

Scavenge the crashed Titan & nearby bases for the base components you need for a BASIC CV, then youll be able to get around easier.

You need a CV with a warp drive, then head to Aestus and Masperon, respectively. To get a warp drive, you need Sathium and Neodymium, located on Akua's moon.

just to put it into perspective im about to build my first CV in my server, but i have NOT set foot on Akuas moon, ive only shot up to an asteroid and started a orbital base.

gives you an idea on how well scavenging can go for you, but dont bank on being as lucky.

you should be able to scrap a handful of thrusters off the titan + loot it and be able to get what you need there without having to leave the surface.

I have built a small base off Akuas. iron is my issue cant seem to mine it quick enough. Any info on this.

like all other ores, where they spawn is tied entirely to the seed.
if youre in that much a need for iron (at least metal plates) just salvage EVERY hull block you come across once you find and secure the Titan.

thatll leave the mined ore for other things like metal pieces for ammo.

once you get a SV, stock it with enough power and fly west to east, from north to south, in a zigzag pattern.
eventually youll canvas the whole planet and have literally every POI & vein marked.

just remember to keep your altitude up around the bases & drones... otherwise you may end up walking home....

Use SVs for scouting, and GVs for "field trips", make sure you have a mini-gun turret on your GV so it can keep itself safe from drones. (turn OFF Predator and Prey targeting unless you wanna waste ammo...)

iron is one of those; "if you cant find it early, youre screwed."

I never gave the Titan a thought about taking the plates thats a plan Im going to do now. Im busy building my space station. will build the CV next door.
Im new to the game just a few weeks.
I have 2 SVs and 1 hover.

Hrmm, how exactly do you salvage?

remove and repair tool. youll get the build components back for each block you knock out.

I knock out the blocks using the LMB, never anything there when I do. Have tried it multiple times, even my own base items when I had to move my planting squares.
EDIT: I had a bad bug where structures were vanishing on the world I created, wonder if that's related. Anyway, started a new world, I'll give it a shot with the remove and repair tool again.

yea all the components you salvage should show up in your inventory.
if not, then something is indeed wrong with the server. now that you started a new one, things should be ok

Boss is right. Do the Titan.

CV's need Zasconium

...because they use RCS's
...Which need"Energy Matrix"
...which needs Zasconium to construct.

I found at least one RCS in the Titan.

You do not need Zacosium to build an RCS or a CV. Only T2 RCS's use Zacosium.
