interface container accessible with F where all container extensions are used for the volume. The condition must be that all container extensions are adjacent each other for 1 group to form a single volume (single volume of the CC = the sum of all CEs).
You can see how much volume a container extension gives you in the item description.
Harvester controller:
Same like above but only for Ore & Wood comming from drills, harvesters or Tool Turrets. All mining ressources are put in the HC.
There can also be ammo containers working that way.
Mainly there are 2 cargo systems in the game:
- Single cargo boxes with a fixed volume
- Cargo Containers + Container Extensions giving a volume depending on the nr. of CEs.
Yes. Example: some of my SVs are designed for a fighter role and have no container controller, just the ammo controller. After adding a constructor, it is able to draw from the ammo controller as it can from any other controller type.
Each controller type uses the same extensions as the other varieties do and have the same limitations. Nothing changes except the container type.
So personally, I don't see any point in having and using a container controller.
But it can make sense to have more than one controller.
There is a maximum number of extensions (39 for bases and CVs) a Controller can control.
I am not sure what will happen or if it is possible to have more than one Ore Controller.
Because each time I wanted/needed more controllers, I would only use normal ones, to be able to control where ore/parts go to.
I have for example only a small base in the beginner system.
No ammo CC because no enemies.
No ore CC because a base can't collect things.
But I have 3 or 4 normal controllers:
- Resources -> Output
- Deconstruct -> Resources
- Output
- For Sale (a small constructor constructs sniper rifles into this one whenever I think about it)
The same thinking would make sense on a CV.
If you had a really large CV, you would want multiple Cargo Controllers.
You would want to be sure where the ore you mine goes, so you would only have one Ore Controller.
It does not make sense to have more than one ammo controller.
But you would have 1-n normal controllers.
This is needed, because otherwise they would be used for mining/tool input or ammo would be used out of them when you did not want that to happen.
Currently using the Feature Creep CV (which is amazing). I put a lot of nice upgrades into it I'm assuming early midgame or late early game. I dunno much about progresion since I'm new & never played vanilla and jumped into the Reforged Eden since I saw it added more stuff ontop of vanilla lol. So games even more complex for a newbie thats not touched the game ^_^. HAving a blast though.
Thank Again =)
Because otherwise, the Regular Container Controllers would be pointless.
Ammo Controllers also have less slots than the Harvest and Container Controllers.
