The main page has a main tutorial that many say is pretty good. Which are you doing?
The in game isnt bad, just rather stumble upon.
Their approach is to push the new player into exploring, which should be natural, and that triggers the tutorial.
Honestly if you just read the descriptions of items, the tech tree and all its tabs+legend, and the empyriopedia(sp). you should get the idea and what can be used/done. Also look at your keybinds and see all the different commands.
Have fun exploring!
He also did alot Tutorials about Logics and Sensors, just take search for it in his Channel.
My main interest per the tutorial is that in the PDA it lists 2 characters you learn about via the tutorial. The lore has me curious
In other words you need to do a lot of reading. It's only about as much as a uni assignment!
Only if you want to. Reading is the key in life. If you want to know something reading gets you the answers. So does common sense. Sadly common sense is not that common.
Sorry to hear that.
This is very likely a bug.
Possibly happens to more experienced players and/or doing certain steps very fast.
A fix might be already in the works.
- Can you still remember _from which POI_ it directed you back to the beach, and (ideally) the message it said?
... Were you at the copper mine tower (with F5 drone info), and it sent you then back, or did you do the weather station cellar (with the exploding generators) only?
---
- On a standard run, if you exit the cellar, and it tells you 'the antenna signal points north', and you see another marker, then all should be clear.
- There is a way to continue a stuck tutorial run :
Enter godmode (Console: IIRC "~" button for US keyboards, "ö" for german, Type 'gm'.) Then go back into the teleporter box at the beach (where you started- x:10764, y:8 z:417). Sink straight down below the box, into the water, clip into the terrain. There will be a core with a lever. Flip that. it activates the debug chapters.
To continue, open PDA with F1, manually activate the chapter "Playtest - Planet - Subspace antenna". This should put it back onto tracks.
The bug does oft occur at the copper mine part
- Thanks alot !!
