I think it doesnt drive over water on purpose so HV's still have a use, the second point of yours yeah this shouldnt happen.
But overall im happy, i love exploring a planet with the bike without getting stuck on everything with a big HV or without a need to land with a CV everytime.
Also i love that i can put it in my bag lol
Yeah, its actually usable now to move fast on a plannet.
If you're playing on a server, it's up to the server owner to update manually. SP games will update when you start/restart Empyrion.
2. The bike sound is intensily annoying.
3. When entering water the "hover"bike teleports randomly or just glitches, so it's not feeling like anyone tested this update.
the bike did not sink it teleported
on the 3rd attempt it did sink and was "untouchable" or irrecoverable due to a terrain glitch

I basically been on the bike for 2 minutes and I found at least 2 defects, which in my books counts as low test effort even if 1000 other players have used the bike for a total of 1000 minutes, and not had any issues. My 2 minutes trumps as a poor out-of-box experience.
