Artifact site on Akua

So I'm on the starter planet Akua. There is this POI Artifact site with lots of tasty xeno steel in the basement for me to use on my cv. The problem is the core on this one. I found the core by spawning in the POI on creative. The core is guarded by a couple of damaged steel blocks 250 hp each. I tried SV gattling guns --- didn't scratch them. I built a base right next to it with a turret that fires 30mm cannon --- doesn't scratch them. Before I go and build a rocket launcher on my base, can this even be damaged? I can understand them not wanting me to harvest all that xeno steel. Someone let me know please.

It has an Admin core. You cannot damage this POI. It's that way on purpose.
When you see POI's with the Chevron icons on the Map that means it has an Admin core.

You can find Xeno substrate in the many nests on Mesperon. I pulled 184 of them form this nest. Be careful because there are spiders and other critters that will attack you.

You can get a lot from the Abandoned Base, which is on Akua.
