Use the Galaxy map and when you arrive in a sector, click the planet button and it'll tell you O2% and whether you can breath or not.
nah I'm using info panel
I've got to be somewhere between 50-100 checked and nothing lol
How would a solar system be breathable? Planets and some moons are breathable, but I am confused when you say "system".
If you're looking for a Habitable System they are everywhere, but they do not all have breathable planets.
Ive checked many many systems, none of them have had a single breathable planet. Sorry for confusion.
Standalone
So, I assume your using the console command and doing a teleport by sector/planet name. I have done this, but only after the playfields had been seeded. So, the new game start way you might be doing it, may not be seeding the playfields correctly.
Not sure what this means.
Could me teleporting right away across the galaxy be messing up the entire game?
I'm getting some systems to work out there letting me teleport, but same results
I can tell you if you go to a planet name ABC and it is forested and breathable, and I go to planet named ABC it could be Lava, or desert. Seeding means when you arrive for the 1st time in the playfield the system generates what will be there. I found this out one time when I arrived at a beautiful breathable planet and I wanted to setup a base there. Well, I had some issue which required that I go to my last BACKUP/SAVE. That save was before I arrived at this planet. So, when I warped there to setup, the planet was now a Barren planet.
As far as teleporting via console to setup your 1st start, I can't vouch for that being a workable option
Yeah it was sort of just to explore and see what it was like.
I started yet another new game, and this time decided to just tp from the original system to only ones close by, one after another.
No system will generate with a breathable planet
