Use the galaxy map, navigate around in the region hinted by the description, and look for a system of that name. Don't rely on the search feature. Use your eyes. You will have to center on a more distant system in order to get the map to reveal names of systems closer to it but farther from your origin.

Why can't I find the system through the search?

Go to the map and click territories and then look through area in between empire bubbles. Took me about a minute to find it. It doesn't show up in search because Sigma Zero is not the name of the actual system, it's anickname.

All I can suggest is to move around the map using WASD keys and zoom in and out with mouse scroll wheel. If you are looking in the right area between the three empires it will be there. It has a little bubble of its own around it if you look on screenshot I posted. The system uses a random name for each seed probably, so it's the only way I know of to find it.

I have a regular type system in the center of a white small bubble.
I searched between three large bubbles as it was written in the quest.
Then I'll try to search again.

Usually SigmaZero is only/about 2 jumps away. Look toward the area IDA tells you.

I created a new game and immediately found the right system. There is no such name in my game -_-

You need to search by system type not system name.

But apparently, I just do not have such a name.

Can you share a screenshot showing you trying to search for it? I bet you're just missing something.

Search by system type and search for SigmaZero (no spaces).

Can you share a screenshot showing you trying to search for it? I bet you're just missing something.
The Adevnakua [0] system (which is on the screen) should be the one according to the quest. But for some reason it is signed as a normal system.
