Blue Crystals - finding them

Has anyone managed to find blue crystals on any of the outer planets?

I've found them consistently on Akua and Omicron, underwater.

I've read of a few people finding them on Omicron's moon.

I've checked underwater on the snow planet, and the other temperate/ocean planet, but didn't find any.

I'm now stuck on the other desert planet, after running out .. and there's no water! I guess this is a resource we need to stockpile if we plan to jump around a lot.

How did you build up so fast a capital ship capable of warping to another planet? It takes weeks to build one and the alpha only exists a couple of days. As far as I know you need a huge capital ship to travel to other planets and the little space ship can only go orbit but not travel anymore anywhere right?

It took about 4-5 hours to collect the resources and build my ship. If I'd gone for a blueprint, I think it would have been much less. Looks like I might need to do it again though ... doesn't seem to be any crystals in this desert!

theyre up in the mountains in Ningues, glowing blue and red. 2x crystals per plant.

I think each biome might have a different place to find the crystals.

You can find some on Akua (just look under water)

assuming that this is not a troll post, the capital vessel available via blueprint only requires 990 iron, 400 other metals and some stuff you get from the crashed Titan. Construction time 1:24h .Just needs a warp drive+fuel.

Shaun, sure that would be a solution. But to build a real beautiful capital ship by myself, an own creation, a beauty like some players showed in there downloads. Well they took one day for mining the materials. But the bigger deal is the time you need to think on how to put all together to finally create your own capital ship, a ship what is really working and well balanced. I guess if you create all this by your own fantasy, this is not an easy task. And after having all materials it might take one or two weeks to create and build a real good starship, well balanced and working, just by yourself. Don't get me wrong, I like the first given blueprints allready there as a help and guideline on how to do things. But the real challange is to create everything by your own.

However, I am playing some days now and still working on my first base to make it really beautiful. Don't have any vehicle yet, not even a little hover bike.

look for the warp-pocket, add a fueltank and you are ready to go. land it with the nose down and put ur sv on the flat side. works like a charm, needs just 30 mins or so to build.

found the blue crystals on one of the new desert planets,cant remember the name. they are growing on dry ground so lots easier to get to , but the drones are vicious. sneaky lill buggers. sneak attacked my sv while mining . had to walk across the planet back to my cv.

On aitis a lava planet i found them in fog geen areas beware the drones.

With a hover vehicle that beautiful base could be up in half the time ;)
It takes very little resource to build a basic hover vehicle, even SV. Help yourself, build some form of transport!
