Can't place core block

Help! I can't place my core block for my base anywhere! It's just outlined in red all the time.

You need to craft the Base-Starter to start a Base. Only a core block won't help ;-)

I crafted the Base-Starter, I could place him (on water, Base-starter was blue outlined), - but in the moment I added another block, both (base-starter and block) sunk in the water. What was remarkable is, that - contrary to the Pre-Alpha versions - the base starter was not surrounded by eight blocks, the starter was a single block.

You can't place a base on water anymore. Water has been upgraded from "terrain with different texture" to a "surface" :D You need to support your builds now! Even on water.

The Base-Starter is a single block, because we have now 4 materials. In Pre-Alpha we had 1.. so in Alpha we wanted to give you the choice which direction to go from there...

You can use the core on an ememy base, destory the old core, replace it with yours. Also it works on Titan wreckage. Instant base starter. But for a new base, you need to build the base starter as posted above.
