Hi all,

I've been trying to find a good gold colour paint using the in game RGB but struggling to get it right. Can anyone help with a suggestion value?

Been looking at a few ships in the workshop but not seen any gold there either.

The gold color hex # is #FFD700. I have never done what you are doing but have watched JRandall use the hex codes for colors.

I just wish you could do the same with the blocks. You can do it, but is selects the wrong block.

Or at least the @Devs could give each block shape a code/number so we could point to it, get the number then look up that number in the block chart. This way when repairing or modifying a blue print wouldn't take hours.

Point to the block you want to copy, hold down left ctrl and right click on it. It will copy the block shape/texture for you to put down. It was added in the last update.

Is there a way to customize and add textures as well or just colors ?

As indicated in my reply, it does NOT select the correct block. It will on some blocks, but about 50% of the time, it is wrong. See the image - I want the triangle block on the bottom right and it selected the 1/4 curved corner round.

Everyone's bases and ships look badass and mine always look like I designed them badly in Minecraft. :-(

Just starting to build custom stuff myself too and I find it always begins to look like a Minecraft base at first. Best tip I can give is make a general shell or outline then put your big stuff down. I then like to paint or deco around the big objects and it will flesh itself out.
