Stuck in wall

I jumped in the air, and as I was coming down I clicked to build a mesh frame when I was landing. I got stuck inside.

Is there a way out?

Hmm..I've done something liek that before. Save and reload. See if that fixes it.

- exit the game and re-enter, the game should kick youy out of the structure on startup.

- an R&R tool, which you probably dont have yet?

- Try shooting it.

if its part of a base with your core in it, guns wont destroy.

if its someone elses base, R&R wont work.

If neither , im not sure - try shooting.

The leaving and reloading works best. At least it used to. I've learned not to do it so I haven't done it in a while.

I tried shooting it and chainsawing it. But it was part of my base so it did nothing. My only thought was to exit without saving, so thats what I did. D: haha...

Next time I will save and exit though! Thanks!

@sunshine Cause I didnt want to ruin all my play time by saving inside a wall, and when I would load the save, its my first presumption that my character will be right where I left it... which was inside the wall. lol...

It makes no difference as the game is a running save.
The save option just creates a backup save point.

Crash is right. Your back up file can be renamed and you can continue from that and keep your original as a save point. You can do that several times to have a safe start restart spot if something bad happens and you don't want ot start over.

Really? Sound liek a real problem then. You'll need to describe it in bug report and describe it so they can see if they need to fix it.

You can try suicide, but I'm not sure if you will drop back at your base unless you have a med station.

I'm afraid you may have to restart. I'd suggest that you do more back ups in the future so that you have a place to restart from. Save a lot of restarts.

If all else fails, there is always the suicide option. Your backpack should fall outside of the block. Make a backup first just to be safe.

Oftentimes, you can jetpack/sprint to slowly work your way out.

If this is singleplayer -> open the console (TAB) and enter 'godmode'. You should be able to fly out of the block.
