Oh, so the spawners need to be removed even if the core was destroyed?
on that note, how to the spawners still function if the core/generators are removed?
They are driven from the other end - where the aliens are coming from.
That's a good hint - but for people who that question matters:
Cores can be placed anywhere on an existing structure which does not have another core on it.
Base starter blocks can be placed anywhere where there is room on the ground (or in orbit) that is not touching another structure.
Vehicle starter blocks can be placed anywhere where there is room.
Um... mostly - I have not tried enough stuff to know if there are other restrictions that I have not noticed yet. Also, they keep releasing new versions of the game (which is mostly a good thing), so some things should be expected to change. (Hopefully mostly in good ways, but there will also be some mistakes that need to be fixed and sometimes they have to assume that you are playing on a good machine.)
ah, so think of them less like spawners and more like targets for them to jump to. makes sense, sorry, i need a dose of logic some times. thanks!
