List of locations/planets for ORE?

is there a master list of where to find some of these rare items like Erestrum Ore or Zascosium Ore?

nope not that i know of but you find them on the harder planets mainly the level 5 ones

Master lists will probably make more sense when game goes beta. So many changes now that wiki and stuff are outdated fast.

so that is the problem, there are some old list/wikis that are completly wrong. so it makes it confusing. I am still stuck on the starter planet and trying to find neo, Erestrum, etc. or is there a list of what I should be able to mine on the starter planet

Available ores on any planet are listed on the map when you are on that planet. MacWarren is correct above for E and Z ores and Sathium is available on Akua astroids.

You can mine Neo on the Moons of the starter planets.
When you are on a planet or moon, you can press"m" to bring up the map which will also list all the available mineral deposits.

To mine E & Z you will have to travel to other planets.
For the time being, all of the above can be found in small quantities as POI loot on the starter worlds.
